What You’ll Do

• Identify and promote emerging artists and crafters within the community.
• Implement projects related to performing and visual arts that contribute to socio-economic development.
• Facilitate community-based arts and culture programs that enhance public engagement.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders to support arts initiatives.
• Develop and manage youth development programs related to arts and culture.
• Conduct needs analysis and provide professional advice on arts and culture matters.
• Monitor and evaluate funded projects and provide administrative support for arts programs.
• Create and conduct awareness campaigns to promote arts and culture initiatives.

What You’ll Need

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF level 06/07) in Arts and Cultural Studies or a related field recognized by SAQA.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in arts and culture sectors.
• A valid Driver’s License (except for persons with disabilities).
• In-depth knowledge of cultural and creative legislative frameworks governing public service.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, report writing, and analytical skills.
• Skills in financial management, presentation, and research.
• Motivational and cultural development skills.
