What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate and coordinate new construction, repairs, and maintenance projects.
  • Allocate tasks and monitor project expenditure and timelines.
  • Attend monthly project meetings with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Update the Works Control System and provide necessary reports and estimates.
  • Ensure accuracy in tender documents, specifications, and bills of quantities.
  • Promote and assist Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) and support BBBEE initiatives.
  • Oversee contract administration and resolve disputes effectively.
  • Develop and interpret technical plans, sketches, and documentation for projects.
  • Manage contractor and consultant activities, ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Supervise team performance, identify skills development needs, and provide training opportunities.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a National Diploma (T/N/S streams) in Building/Civil or equivalent, or N3 with a passed trade test in the building environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and National Building Regulations.
  • Proficiency in procurement processes, property management, and facilities management.
  • Strong computer literacy, technical report writing, and excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated project management experience and problem-solving abilities.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure while maintaining a people-oriented approach.
