What You’ll Do
- Design and produce electrical systems and objects according to client specifications.
- Supervise and guide tradesman aids and apprentices, allocating daily tasks and monitoring their progress.
- Inspect and maintain equipment and facilities, identifying and repairing technical faults.
- Compile and submit reports on maintenance activities and manage the register of maintained and repaired faults.
- Order required equipment and materials, obtaining quotations as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout the maintenance and production processes.
What You’ll Need
- Appropriate Trade Test Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and related compliance requirements.
- Technical skills in project management and design, as well as proficiency in computer-aided design applications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to plan and organize effectively.
- Experience in operating workshop equipment and performing technical report writing.
