What You’ll Do

• Design and produce electrical systems and objects according to client specifications.
• Supervise and guide tradesman aids and apprentices, allocating daily tasks and monitoring their progress.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and facilities, identifying and repairing technical faults.
• Compile and submit reports on maintenance activities and manage the register of maintained and repaired faults.
• Order required equipment and materials, obtaining quotations as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards throughout the maintenance and production processes.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate Trade Test Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and related compliance requirements.
• Technical skills in project management and design, as well as proficiency in computer-aided design applications.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to plan and organize effectively.
• Experience in operating workshop equipment and performing technical report writing.
