What You’ll Do

• Manage and oversee the care of patients admitted to the hospital, ensuring quality treatment and adherence to medical standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Participate actively in academic and training programs to foster professional growth within the hospital.
• Conduct clinical audits to maintain and improve standards of patient care.
• Provide support to hospital management to ensure efficient service delivery and patient care.
• Engage in continuous professional development and comply with the Performance Management and Development System.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualifications allowing registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Internal Medicine.
• Valid work permit required for non-South African applicants.
• Sound knowledge of medical ethics and current health policies.
• Experience in multidisciplinary management and teamwork in a medical setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to teaching and guiding junior staff.
