What You’ll Do

  • Manage and oversee community development structures and projects.
  • Facilitate the identification and implementation of integrated community development interventions.
  • Collaborate with community members and relevant stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Supervise community development practitioners, ensuring clear communication and coordination.
  • Provide administrative support for community development activities.
  • Stay updated on developments in the community development field to enhance service delivery.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate qualification at NQF 6 or an equivalent qualification in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Community Development, or related fields.
  • A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in Community Development.
  • A valid motor vehicle driver’s license (excluding individuals with disabilities).
  • Strong knowledge of community dynamics, behaviour, and legislation.
  • Excellent project management and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in research, report writing, and computer literacy.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
