What You’ll Do
- Lead the departmental strategic and operational planning processes, which include the development of the Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan.
- Coordinate the compilation of quarterly and annual performance reports, ensuring that all submissions are thorough and accurate.
- Facilitate Batho Pele initiatives and service delivery improvements to enhance public service efficiency.
- Oversee the performance management of your sub-directorate, focusing on people management and financial accountability.
- Engage in policy formulation and analysis to support the department’s objectives.
- Develop strong facilitation and presentation materials to communicate departmental goals effectively.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher).
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience at a middle management level.
- Strong knowledge of policy formulation and analysis skills.
- Proficiency in project management, accounting, and strategic planning tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including report writing and analytical abilities.
- Competence in people management, conflict resolution, and problem-solving.
