What You’ll Do

  • Deliver quality patient care focused on renal disease treatment and education
  • Operate dialysis machines and water purification systems safely
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, adhering to policies and protocols
  • Identify and manage risks to ensure patient safety
  • Create a positive patient experience through effective communication and environment
  • Develop and adjust comprehensive patient care plans based on assessments
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care

What You’ll Need

  • Senior Certificate / Grade 12 and relevant qualification for HPCSA registration
  • Current registration with the HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • A minimum of two years’ dialysis experience is advantageous
  • Knowledge of dialysis machines and water purification systems
  • Understanding of infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols
  • Basic computer literacy and relevant legislation knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
