What You’ll Do

  • Provide clinical psychologist services to patients in hospital facilities.
  • Develop and deliver training materials focused on mental health for the multidisciplinary team.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate/Grade 12 and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.
  • Current registration with the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience post-registration for foreign-qualified applicants.
  • Strong clinical knowledge in diagnostic assessment and treatment procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competency in psychological assessment and report writing, particularly in forensic mental health contexts.
  • Awareness of community and socio-economic factors impacting mental health.
  • Valid driver’s license and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
