What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients at the help desk, providing assistance with registration services.
- Address and resolve complaints related to IES labour legislation, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the operational needs of the Labour Centre.
- Participate in advocacy sessions to promote understanding of labour rights and services within the community.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by departmental policies and procedures.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of a Grade 12 qualification.
- A strong understanding of relevant labour legislation, public service regulations, and departmental policies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including telephone etiquette and the ability to conduct interviews.
- Proficiency in computer literacy to efficiently manage administrative tasks.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret legislation effectively.
