What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first point of entry at the help desk, assisting clients with their queries.
- Resolve complaints regarding the Integrated Employment Services (IES) labour legislations.
- Conduct general administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the Labour Centre.
- Participate in advocacy sessions to promote awareness of labour rights and regulations.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant labour legislation and departmental policies.
What You’ll Need
- A Matriculation/Grade 12/Senior Certificate.
- Knowledge of relevant Labour Legislations and Regulations, including ILO conventions.
- Familiarity with Public Service Regulations and the Public Service Act.
- Understanding of departmental policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and effective communication abilities.
- Competency in problem-solving and the ability to interpret legislation.
