What You’ll Do
- Conduct thorough occupational inspections to ensure compliance with all relevant labour legislation.
- Execute investigations on reported labour law violations and enforce corrective actions as necessary.
- Carry out proactive inspections regularly to monitor adherence to labour regulations.
- Organize and conduct advocacy campaigns to raise awareness of labour legislation.
- Assist in drafting detailed inspection plans and reports, as well as compiling statistics on cases handled.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant qualification in Labour Relations, BCom Law, or LLB (three years minimum).
- A valid driver’s license for travel between sites.
- Knowledge of key legislation including the Skills Development Act, Labour Relations Act, and Basic Conditions of Employment Act.
- Strong facilitation, planning, and organizing skills to manage your workload effectively.
- Proficiency in computing, including spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and word processing.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
