What You’ll Do

  • Operationalise and coordinate functions related to establishment administration.
  • Manage the approved establishment of the department, including creating and abolishing posts.
  • Monitor and control the use of functions pertaining to establishment control.
  • Develop, analyse, and maintain establishment statistics.
  • Reconcile organisational structures with the Personnel and Salary (PERSAL) system.
  • Implement and advise on establishment-related policies and procedures.
  • Provide accurate reports and information to top management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of staff, including training and performance management.
  • Promote sound labour relations and maintain discipline within the team.

What You’ll Need

  • A National Senior Certificate or equivalent, along with a 3-year relevant qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in recruitment and selection processes.
  • Knowledge of the recruitment process and relevant prescripts, including PERSAL.
  • Understanding of the Labour Relations Act, Employment of Educators Act, and other related legislation.
  • Strong skills in numeracy, literacy, computer literacy, and project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
