What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the collection of information for the UIF website to ensure up-to-date content.
- Facilitate the creation of content for internal communication platforms that keep staff informed.
- Oversee the production of UIF publications and multimedia materials, including audio-visual content and photography.
- Manage graphic design projects, ensuring a cohesive brand presence across various platforms.
- Supervise human, financial, and equipment resources within the section to optimize productivity.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification in Communication, Public Relations, Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Graphic Design, or Multimedia at NQF level 6 recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience, including two years in a supervisory role within Publications and Web Development or Web Administration.
- Knowledge of the Government Communication Information System, Labour Relations Act, Public Financial Management Act, and other relevant legislation.
- Proficiency in web design, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, and Content Management Systems, alongside skills in branding, online marketing, and problem-solving.
- Strong planning and organizing abilities, excellent communication skills, and creativity to drive engaging content.
