What You’ll Do

  • Deliver evidence-based clinical services in occupational therapy.
  • Ensure quality assurance and good clinical governance within the department.
  • Provide support to clinical structures and the Manager of Medical Support Services.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery.
  • Implement transformation initiatives within occupational therapy practices.

What You’ll Need

  • Appropriate qualification for registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Valid registration with the HPCSA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in Occupational Therapy post-registration.
  • Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
  • Knowledge of applicable health legislation, public service policies, and procedures.
  • Experience in mental health and supervisory roles, along with strong organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
