What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the development and review of the municipal provincial capacity building framework.
  • Oversee the implementation of municipal staff regulations to foster compliance and efficiency.
  • Provide crucial support regarding municipal staff establishments and their operational effectiveness.
  • Monitor the implementation of anti-fraud and corruption measures within municipalities.
  • Facilitate the coordination of municipal workplace skills plans to enhance employee development.

What You’ll Need

  • Matric and an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Public Administration, Management, Municipal Administration, or a related field as recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of three years’ relevant experience at a supervisory level.
  • Valid driver’s license (with exceptions made for persons with disabilities).
  • Sound knowledge of relevant prescripts and the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
  • Extensive understanding of Municipal and Public Service Regulations and associated legislative frameworks.
  • Strong skills in people management, financial management, planning, and organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
