What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and review the processing of requisitions for goods and services.
  • Manage the placement of orders for both goods and services as required.
  • Oversee the safekeeping and distribution of goods, including receiving and checking deliveries.
  • Capture goods on relevant procurement systems and manage the return of damaged or incorrect items.
  • Supervise logistics staff, ensuring effective management and performance.
  • Conduct administrative functions related to financial and human resource management.
  • Develop and implement efficient work systems and processes to enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all procurement regulations and oversee supply chain documentation.

What You’ll Need

  • A relevant Degree (NQF Level 7) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Public Management, or Administration.
  • A minimum of 3 years of logistics management experience at a supervisory level.
  • Knowledge of the LOGIS system, PFMA, SCM Regulatory Framework, and public procurement prescripts.
  • Strong computer literacy and a valid driver’s license.
