What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with departmental goals.
  • Manage recruitment processes and ensure compliance with employment policies.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits and pension management systems.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to staff.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives for personnel.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and manage PERSAL-related functions.
  • Conduct performance management and support employee relations.

What You’ll Need

  • National Senior Certificate and an undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6) in Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, Public Administration, Public Management, Business Management, or Industrial Psychology.
  • A minimum of three years’ functional experience at a Senior Personnel Practitioner Level (7/8) in Human Resource Management.
  • Extensive knowledge of PERSAL, ISISELE, and Pension Case Management systems.
  • Familiarity with human resource management methodology, principles, and strategies.
  • Understanding of COIDA, DPSA directives, and customer service principles.
