What You’ll Do
- Coordinate performance management development system (PMDS) awareness and education workshops.
- Develop and review performance agreements in collaboration with line management.
- Draft and compile PMDS status reports and coordinate reviews for non-SMS employees.
- Implement the Human Resources Development (HRD) strategy and monitor its outcomes.
- Facilitate skills development committees and coordinate inputs for the HRD strategy.
- Develop and conduct awareness workshops on Workplace Skills Plans (WSP).
- Present induction and orientation sessions, including Adult Basic Education and Training programs.
- Manage the performance and development of unit employees, ensuring compliance with HR prescripts and regulations.
- Oversee the unit’s operational plans, budget, and resources, ensuring effective communication and coordination within the department.
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, or Training and Development at NQF level 6.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in Human Resource Management or Development, focusing on performance management, skills development, and training programs.
- PERSAL Introduction Certificate and PERSAL Public Administration Certificates 1 and 2.
- A valid unexpired driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of relevant government legislation, financial management, and policy implementation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage diverse teams and demonstrate problem-solving capabilities.
