The Compensation Fund is seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Director: Human Resource Development to join its team in Pretoria. What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the submission of training needs from various Chief/Directorate areas.
- Implement the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) for the Compensation Fund.
- Develop and manage training interventions, professional development plans (PDPs), and bursary programs.
- Oversee the Developmental Programme of the Compensation Fund.
- Organize and implement the Compulsory Induction Programme (CIP) and Departmental Orientation.
- Manage the resources and operations of the Sub-directorate effectively.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6) in Human Resources Management, Training & Development, or Management of Training recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 4 years’ functional experience in Skills Development, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Performance Management Methodology, Principles, and Strategies.
- Familiarity with HRM systems, Learning Systems, and Performance Systems.
- Excellent skills in data gathering, analysis, and record management.
- Strong capabilities in coaching, mentoring, conflict management, and stakeholder relations.
- Ability to plan, manage projects, and ensure quality assurance in service delivery.
