What You’ll Do

  • Implement and monitor human resources prescripts and resolutions.
  • Keep employees informed about new developments in human resources.
  • Oversee the processing of service terminations and ensure timely completion of pension forms.
  • Maintain a database for submitted cases to the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) and follow up on outstanding claims.
  • Coordinate service benefits workshops and ensure compliance with relevant policies.
  • Approve leave transactions and verify the correctness of incapacity applications.
  • Facilitate performance management and training development activities.
  • Monitor recruitment and selection processes to ensure adherence to equity targets.
  • Assist in resolving employee grievances and disciplinary matters effectively.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 Certificate and a National Diploma in Human Resource Management, Labour Relations, or a related field (NQF Level 6).
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a human resource management environment.
  • PERSAL Personnel and Leave Administration Certificates.
  • A valid driver’s license and knowledge of pension administration.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation, including the Employment Equity Act and Public Service Regulations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
