What You’ll Do

  • Conduct population health surveillance analyses to support strategic health priorities.
  • Report on public health surveillance findings and trends.

  • Engage in capacity development initiatives within the department.
  • Analyze and report on large datasets related to routine health services.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a three-year National Diploma or Degree in health sciences, social sciences, public health, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant experience in analyzing and reporting on large health datasets.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to districts and nationally when necessary.
  • Strong leadership, managerial, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic planning skills.
  • Proficient computer literacy, including high-level skills in MS Excel and familiarity with statistical packages such as Stata or R.
  • Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when required.
