What You’ll Do
- Collate and consolidate reports regarding the mainstreaming of issues affecting older persons
- Coordinate provincial machinery and initiatives aimed at supporting the elderly
- Organize and facilitate the Annual General Meeting for Older Persons
- Provide training and resources to stakeholders on the rights of Older Persons
- Offer administrative support within the Elderly Persons Unit
What You’ll Need
- A National Diploma in Social Work or Social Sciences (NQF level 6)
- A minimum of three years of experience in a special programme environment
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks, including the South African Constitution and the Older Persons Act
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in report writing, public speaking, and time management
