What You’ll Do
- Conduct research on corporate governance developments and best practices.
- Facilitate the implementation of corporate governance practices within the Fund.
- Review and approve charters and terms of reference for various committees.
- Quality assure quarterly validation reviews for boards and committees.
- Coordinate annual evaluations for the board and committees.
- Manage resources, including human, financial, and equipment/assets, within the sub-directorate.
What You’ll Need
- A three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) in Public Management, Administration, Auditing, Law, B Com Law, or B Com Auditing.
- A minimum of four years’ experience with at least two years in a board and committee environment and two years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), protocol on corporate governance, and relevant acts such as the Companies Act and Labour Relations Act.
- Strong skills in financial management, communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, presentation, planning, organizing, computer literacy, and report writing.
