What You’ll Do
- Facilitate and conduct compliance inspections to ensure adherence to consumer protection laws.
- Investigate cases and provide mediation services for consumer disputes.
- Represent consumers in the Consumer Court, advocating for their rights.
- Offer secretariat services during hearings and meetings related to consumer matters.
- Manage and utilize financial, human, and physical resources in compliance with directives and legislation.
What You’ll Need
- An NQF 6 qualification in Commercial Law, Law, Business Management, or Public Administration as recognized by SAQA.
- Three to five years of experience in Commercial Law, Business Administration, or Public Administration.
- A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
- Knowledge of relevant consumer legislation and regulations in South Africa.
- Strong skills in customer care, presentation, report writing, and communication.
- Proficiency in negotiation, administrative management, planning, and organization.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and public speaking abilities.
- Basic computer literacy and project management skills.
