What You’ll Do
- Coordinate integrated development interventions in partnership with relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee community development service delivery areas to ensure effective service provision.
- Conduct research on community development needs and trends.
- Support municipalities in addressing community concerns and issues.
- Manage a team and handle all necessary administrative functions, including progress reporting.
- Develop, implement, and maintain processes for efficient work control.
What You’ll Need
- Matric plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Public Administration, Social Science, or a related field recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant supervisory experience.
- A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation governing public service, including the Employment Equity Act and Labour Relations Act.
- Strong skills in people management, financial management, planning, and organization.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a client-oriented approach.
- Ability to solve problems, communicate effectively, and work under pressure with attention to detail.
