What You’ll Do
- Forecast cash flows over short, medium, and long-term periods on a monthly and daily basis.
- Review cash flow statements in line with reporting standards and manage liquidity through bridging finance facilities.
- Prepare detailed procedure manuals for undocumented processes and respond to audit requests.
- Conduct variance analysis by updating actual cash flow against projected figures and liaising with relevant teams.
- Maintain records of meetings with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) regarding tax revenue forecasts.
- Manage Exchequer investments, including maintaining signing arrangements and ensuring compliance with prescribed credit risk ratios.
- Engage with stakeholders to automate manual processes and improve cash management strategies.
- Execute daily bank transactions and ensure accurate reconciliation of all figures.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of Grade 12, with a National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
- A Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in any of the above disciplines is an advantage.
- At least 3 years of experience in a finance environment, with a focus on cash management.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
