What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate the handling of incoming calls and enquiries efficiently.
  • Review and implement call centre policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.
  • Coordinate the helpdesk service to ensure prompt and effective responses to inquiries.
  • Manage resources including human capital, financial assets, and equipment within the Sub-Directorate.
  • Lead and supervise a team to ensure high standards of service are maintained.
  • Monitor performance metrics and reports to identify areas for improvement.

What You’ll Need

  • A three-year relevant tertiary qualification in Contact Centre Management, Public Management, Business Administration, or similar fields.
  • A minimum of two years functional experience in a call centre environment.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience within a call centre.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and the Labour Relations Act (LRA).
  • Strong communication and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Analytical, numeracy, planning, and organizing skills, with an understanding of diversity management.
