What You’ll Do
- Manage, administer, and coordinate departmental bids to ensure compliance with procurement policies.
- Conduct evaluations of quotes up to R 1 million, ensuring thorough and fair assessment processes.
- Provide guidance and advice on procurement strategies and best practices to enhance departmental operations.
- Control and manage resources effectively, including human and financial resources, within the division.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to promote transparency and efficiency in procurement activities.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate and a 3-year tertiary qualification at NQF Level 7 in Supply Chain/Logistics Management, Public Administration, or Procurement Management.
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a Supply Chain Management environment, specifically in bid management.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including PFMA, Treasury regulations, and Procurement Act.
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- A valid driver’s license is compulsory.

Requirements
Applicants must be in possession of Grade 12, a 3-year tertiary qualification at NQF Level 7 in Supply Chain/Logistics Management, Public Administration, Procurement management with 3–5 years’ supervisory experience within Supply Chain Management environment (Bid management).A valid driver’s license is compulsory.
