What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and execute the bidding process for procurement within the department.
- Compile and review lists of potential providers for quotations.
- Source quotations from the approved database according to established thresholds.
- Supervise staff to ensure effective acquisition management services.
- Carry out all administrative functions related to financial and HR administration.
What You’ll Need
- Matric plus an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) in Supply Chain Management or a related field, as recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of three years of relevant supervisory experience in a Supply Chain Management environment.
- A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
- Strong knowledge of public service legislation, including the Public Service Act and PFMA.
- Excellent people management, financial management, and planning skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on client orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to work under pressure, be self-motivated, and maintain attention to detail.
