What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems within the facility to ensure operational efficiency
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor electrical faults and implement appropriate solutions
  • Undertake construction of minor electrical projects as needed
  • Attend to job cards and perform related electrical duties
  • Conduct technical analysis and report writing for compliance and improvements

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate recognized Trade Test Certificate as acknowledged by SAQA
  • A valid motor vehicle driver’s license (exceptions apply for individuals with disabilities)
  • Knowledge of relevant Acts, regulations, and electrical maintenance manuals
  • Proficiency in health and safety measures related to electrical work
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
  • Competency in technical reporting and computer-aided applications
