What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate the repair and maintenance of government vehicles, both heavy and light
  • Provide technical services and support in the government garage/workshop

  • Manage administrative tasks related to budgeting and reporting
  • Conduct breakdown services to minimize downtime of government vehicles
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate Trade Test Certificate in Diesel/Electro-mechanical/Mechanical Engineering as recognized by SAQA
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field
  • A valid driver’s license (excluding persons with disabilities)
  • Strong computer literacy and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
  • Good communication skills, professionalism, and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
