What You’ll Do
- Provide expert panel beating services on vehicles for various provincial departments.
- Carry out spray painting services to ensure vehicles are well-maintained and visually appealing.
- Conduct secret marking of new vehicles to ensure proper identification and security.
- Fit number plates and produce key ring tags for new vehicles.
- Assess and provide quotations for accident-damaged vehicles.
- Perform minor stripping and assembly of vehicle parts as necessary.
What You’ll Need
- A National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- A Trade Test Certificate or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in panel beating or a related field.
- A valid driver’s license (not required for persons with disabilities).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer and financial management systems.
- A commitment to professionalism, accuracy, and teamwork.
