What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate the implementation of the EPWP within the district.
  • Facilitate the recruitment of new beneficiaries into the EPWP.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive list of projects initiated by the department.
  • Collect and submit monthly attendance records for payment processing.
  • Provide support to project implementers on data collection tools and EPWP regulations.
  • Attend municipal infrastructure meetings and compile necessary reports.
  • Monitor compliance of EPWP projects with established guidelines.
  • Identify training needs for beneficiaries and facilitate their development.
  • Liaise with relevant government bodies regarding EPWP-related matters.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12/Matric certificate and a qualification at NQF Level 6 in Developmental Studies, Public Administration, or Management recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in an EPWP environment.
  • A valid driver’s license (exceptions apply for applicants with disabilities).
  • Solid knowledge of Public Service Acts, regulations, and frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and people management abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and data management.

Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric certificate and a qualification at NQF Level 6 in Developmental Studies/ Public Administration/Management as recognized by SAQA.

Two (2) years’ experience in EPWP environment.

Valid driver’s license, with the exception of applicants with disabilities.

Job Duties

Coordinate EPWP Implementation in the District: Facilitate recruitment of EPWP new intake.

Establish Project list of projects implemented by the Department (e.

g.

NYS and Empowerment projects implemented in all Cost Centres).

Collect monthly attendance of participants and submit to Finance for payment.

Provide support to implementing bodies on the data collection tool and EPWP prescripts.

Attend Municipal infrastructure monthly meetings (MIG).

Compile data tool of each project and submit to Head Office for uploading on the system.

Keeping records of submitted and captured data.

Monitoring of EPWP in the District.

Visit EPWP Projects monitoring for compliance with EPWP prescripts.

Attend quarterly EPWP M & R and District forum.

Compile monthly report.

Manage utilization and development of the trainees including coordinating compensation: Facilitate the training of the beneficiaries.

Identify the needs of the District and beneficiaries.

Liaise with Head Office and other relevant government developmental on EPWP related issues.

Advice and implement trainees mentorship and development.

Salary

R338 106 per annum (Level 07)
