What You’ll Do

  • Manage demand and acquisition functions related to supply chain processes.
  • Perform duties associated with the Electronic Procurement System, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare bidding templates and documentation for the Quotation Evaluation Committee.
  • Maintain an accurate asset register and follow up on outstanding orders.
  • Assist with Interim and Annual Financial statement reporting and other financial year-end tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with laws pertaining to Supply Chain Asset and Warehouse Management duties.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum educational qualification of a Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accountancy as a passed subject.
  • Relevant experience in Asset Management and Warehousing, either in the public or private sector.
  • Working knowledge of Procurement processes, particularly using an eProcurement System.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Langeberg sub-district.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with the AOS, PFMA, Finance Instructions, and National Treasury Regulations.
