About the Role
The South African Police Service is seeking a dedicated Administration Clerk Supervisor for its Head Office located in Erasmuskloof, Pretoria. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating Location Based Services (LBS) applications in accordance with the provisions of Section 8 of Act 70/2002. What You’ll Do
- Coordinate LBS applications in line with legal requirements and protocols.
- Process and disseminate written confirmations to Electronic Communication Service Providers (ECSP).
- Submit affidavits regarding LBS activations to the relevant authorities.
- Manage the coordination of Section 205 as outlined in Act 51/1977.
- Support the overall administration and documentation processes within the department.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of four years’ experience in a relevant field.
- Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- An applicable three-year Diploma/Degree in Information Technology/IT Support or Information Systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles is an added advantage.
- Ability to work shifts and extended hours as needed.
