What You’ll Do
- Provide essential communication support for all SAPS provincial events and projects.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives that reinforce the SAPS’s positive corporate image.
- Ensure timely circulation of approved messages to all email users.
- Facilitate the marketing and support of SAPS programs.
- Research, write, edit, and distribute articles and stories for internal newsletters and official digital platforms.
- Gather quotes, visual content, and data to develop compelling narratives for major provincial events.
- Oversee internal protocol tasks related to event proceedings and programs.
What You’ll Need
- Competency in the core functions of the role.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- Citizenship in South Africa, with documentary proof required at the interview.
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of four years’ experience in a relevant field.
- An applicable three-year Diploma/Degree in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations (NQF Level 6 or higher) is advantageous.
- A valid driver’s license for a light motor vehicle is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with general computer literacy.
- Excellent planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work under pressure and extended hours.
