What You’ll Do
- Conduct legal research to support the Regional Court President and Chief Magistrate as needed
- Compile and submit statistics to the Monitoring & Evaluation unit, ensuring accurate reconciliation of manual and electronic records
- Prepare for audits and engage in data purification processes
- Manage case flow effectively to facilitate timely judicial proceedings
- Assist the Regional Court Registrar and provide support to members of the public with inquiries
- Offer general administrative support as requested by the Court Manager and Supervisor
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification at NQF level four (4) as recognized by SAQA
- No prior experience is necessary, but a minimum of one (1) year in a legal environment is advantageous
- An LLB Degree qualification and a valid driver’s license will be an added benefit
- Knowledge of Public Services Legislation, Prescripts, and Regulations
- Strong research, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in minute-taking, report writing, problem-solving, and decision-making
- Excellent time management, organizational, planning, and computer skills (MS Office)
