What You’ll Do

  • Provide general clerical support by organizing and managing correspondence and data.
  • Record and update databases and registers to ensure accurate information retrieval.
  • Handle reception duties, managing inquiries and directing visitors appropriately.
  • Maintain the filing system and manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Assist with report compilation, including memos and submissions as required.
  • Support procurement processes by liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Administer asset registers, including tracking inventory and managing asset movements.
  • Process personnel administration tasks, such as maintaining leave registers and records.
  • Facilitate budget tracking by capturing expenditure and verifying claims.
  • Oversee transport administrative functions, including vehicle coordination and maintenance.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate is required for this position.
  • Basic knowledge of clerical duties and practices, including data capturing and computer operation.
  • Understanding of the legislative framework governing public service operations.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, along with planning and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the demands of the role.
