By keeping the website up to date, the Webmaster plays a key role in providing the public with access to essential information about the judiciary, thus promoting transparency and trust in the legal system.

What You’ll Do
- Maintain and update website content to ensure accuracy and compliance with standard practices.
- Oversee the design and style of the organizational website in accordance with the established style guide and policy.
- Implement necessary security measures and protocols to protect website data.
- Manage the Web Platforms Security Validation Programme and associated databases.
- Monitor website traffic and address technical issues to enhance site performance for users and search engines.
- Troubleshoot and optimize website functionality and user experience.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance operations and activities.
- Provide expert advice on website design and upgrades.
- Perform all administrative duties as directed by your supervisor.
What You’ll Need
- National Diploma in Web Design, Computer Science, or a relevant qualification at NQF Level 6 with 360 credits recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a related field.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Postgraduate qualification in Web Design/Computer Science is an advantage.
- Proficiency in programming languages and web development technologies (HTML5, CSS, PHP, etc.).
- Solid understanding of web application security and best practices.
- Experience in user experience (UX) and client-side technologies.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
