What You’ll Do

• Gather and analyze relevant documents and information for vetting investigations
• Conduct interviews with candidates and references to assess suitability
• Compile comprehensive reports outlining findings, recommendations, and evidence
• Perform quality checks on submitted information to ensure accuracy
• Liaise with external stakeholders and information providers for data access
• Conduct ad-hoc investigations and screenings as required
• Stay updated on developments in vetting policies and procedures
• Provide guidance on relevant legislation and departmental policies

What You’ll Need

• A National Diploma in Social Science, Security Management, Criminology, Police Science, or a related qualification at NQF level six (6)
• A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in the field
• Completion of a vetting course from SSA, DI, or SAPS is an advantage
• Knowledge of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa and relevant legislation
• Strong report writing, research, planning, and communication skills
• Proficiency in computer literacy and interpersonal skills
