What You’ll Do

  • Provide manual labor support during the construction of agricultural infrastructure.
  • Prepare access roads and construction sites for upcoming projects.
  • Handle tools and equipment safely, including welding machinery.
  • Assist in planting posts and constructing fencing to secure agricultural areas.
  • Perform physical maintenance tasks, such as constructing concrete structures.
  • Spray herbicides and manage vegetation around work areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage facilities and yard.
  • Support with stocktaking and record keeping of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Assist with repairs and maintenance of tools, vehicles, and facilities.

What You’ll Need

  • NQF Level 3 (Grade 10 Certificate) is required.
  • No prior experience necessary; a willingness to learn is essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational abilities and the capacity to work independently.
  • Ability to use electrical and hand tools effectively.
  • Willingness to work away from the station for prolonged periods in a camp environment.
