About the Role
The South African Police Service (SAPS) is seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Supply Chain Management Clerk at two locations: Ficksburg and Reitz. What You’ll Do
- Manage supply chain administration processes at the station/component level.
- Oversee the administration of the vehicle fleet and other moveable assets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant supply chain management policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to supply chain activities.
- Assist in the planning and organisation of supply chain logistics.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance operational efficiency.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF level 4).
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- Competency in the core functions of the role.
- General computer literacy skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good planning, organising, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
- Willingness to work under pressure and extended hours.
