What You’ll Do

  • Manage and monitor all Supply Chain Management functions within the Sub-structure.
  • Ensure effective application of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Oversee Procurement, Demand Management, Acquisition Management, and Contract Management.
  • Responsible for compliance with all relevant acts and regulations to ensure audit readiness.
  • Produce timely and accurate reporting on SCM information and performance metrics.
  • Manage SCM systems effectively within the Sub-structure.
  • Handle Human Resource Management of personnel in SCM, Transport, and Support Service components.
  • Utilize Emotional Intelligence to navigate stressful situations in a dynamic work environment.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of a 3-year National Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Supervisory experience in a similar role is essential.
  • A valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
  • Strong knowledge of SCM prescripts and departmental policies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ePS, LOGIS, Vulindlela, and BAS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and managerial skills, with the ability to work independently under pressure.
