About the Opportunity

The SANRAL ICT Logistics Internship offers a unique chance for graduates to immerse themselves in the logistics operations of a leading State-Owned Entity. This 24-month programme is designed to provide hands-on experience in various logistics functions, including stock management, asset support, dispatch, distribution, inventory control, and stakeholder support.

Key Responsibilities

– Assist with stock and asset support, including receiving, recording, and issuing stock.
– Prepare and dispatch parcels to various service centers and toll plazas.
– Support inventory and warehouse management through regular stock counts and updating registers.
– Participate in mobile operations by preparing stock and supporting operational readiness.
– Engage in documentation and reporting tasks, such as preparing delivery notes and maintaining dispatch registers.
– Provide stakeholder support by responding to stock and logistics queries.
– Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety guidelines and internal procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications

Applicants must possess an NQF Level 6 qualification in one of the following fields:
– Logistics
– Transport Management
– Operations Management
– Business Administration
– Customer Relations
– Supply Chain Management
