What You’ll Do
- Supervise the clerical services related to asset management, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Oversee the issuing of equipment and accessories to relevant components and individuals.
- Identify and manage redundant or obsolete equipment for proper disposal.
- Maintain and verify the asset register for accuracy and compliance.
- Supervise the demand and acquisition services, including maintaining supplier databases.
- Ensure timely requests and quotations are processed, and orders are placed on schedule.
- Provide logistical support during bid considerations and contract conclusions.
- Manage the receipt and verification of goods from suppliers, ensuring they meet specifications.
- Allocate tasks and assess staff performance, promoting development and discipline.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain or asset management.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management systems and processes.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and collaboration.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing demands.
- Proficiency in planning and organizational skills.
