What You’ll Do
- Maintain and administer new requisitions for supplies within the unit.
- Oversee the administrative processes related to supplier databases.
- Manage the database of transversal contracts and ensure its accuracy.
- Administer functions related to the acquisition management environment within the department.
- Support the operational needs of the Criminal Record and Crime Scene Management by ensuring timely procurement of necessary resources.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of four years’ experience in supply chain management or a related field.
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- An applicable three-year diploma or degree (NQF level 6 or higher) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical, planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities.
- A valid driver’s license for a light motor vehicle is an added advantage.
