What You’ll Do
- Prepare documents for payment and upload them onto the Integrated Transport System (ITS).
- Receive and date-stamp invoices from supervisors, ensuring their correctness and validity before loading onto ITS.
- Print and verify approved invoices from ITS, ensuring they are captured on the Logistics Information System (LOGIS).
- Respond promptly to notifications regarding the delivery of goods or services related to payments.
- Capture payments on LOGIS, confirming the accuracy of the invoices against approvals and orders.
- Handle payment inquiries and provide timely feedback to suppliers and officials about payment statuses.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 certificate (NQF 4) is essential.
- A National Diploma (NQF 6) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Finance will be advantageous.
- A minimum of one year of experience working with invoice payments is preferred.
- Familiarity with government supplier payment processes is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
