What You’ll Do
- Supervise and manage clerical services related to asset management.
- Oversee the compilation and maintenance of asset records.
- Verify the issuance of equipment and accessories to departments and individuals.
- Identify and recommend disposal of redundant or non-serviceable equipment.
- Update and maintain the supplier database, ensuring proper registration.
- Request and receive quotations, ensuring timely order placements.
- Provide logistical support during bid considerations and contract conclusions.
- Manage the receipt and verification of goods from suppliers.
- Maintain goods registers and ensure accurate data capturing.
- Oversee staff performance, allocate work, and promote personnel development.
What You’ll Need
- National Senior Certificate and a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in procurement, asset management, or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of asset management, provisioning administration, and procurement directives.
- Familiarity with the Public Financial Management Act and related legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in verbal and written communication, with a keen attention to detail.
- A valid driver’s license.
