About the Role
The South African Police Service is seeking dedicated individuals to fill the role of Supply Chain Clerk at two Local Criminal Record Centres located in Lydenburg, Mpumalanga, and Lusikisiki, Eastern Cape. What You’ll Do
- Administer supply chain management resources within the Local Criminal Record Centre environment.
- Manage requisition and acquisition processes for stock and service orders.
- Receive, process, and maintain invoice administration for accurate record-keeping.
- Oversee storerooms, ensuring proper management of equipment and stock.
- Assist with the administration of the vehicle fleet and general supply chain tasks.
- Provide general administrative support to enhance operational efficiency.
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate / NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification (NQF level 4 recognized by SAQA).
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
- General computer literacy skills (including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Strong planning, organizing, administrative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to act independently, professionally, and with credibility, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work under pressure and extended hours.
