About the Role
The South African Police Service (SAPS) is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Supply Chain Clerk at two locations: the SAPS Academy in Bishop Lavis and the SAPS Academy in Oudtshoorn. What You’ll Do
- Administer and monitor demand for moveable government property and fleet management.
- Oversee procurement management and logistical matters to support operational needs.
- Maintain an organized filing system to ensure easy access to important documents.
- Coordinate and process all relevant reports, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Support adherence to the Public Finance Management Act in all operations.
What You’ll Need
- Competency in the core functions of the position.
- Proficiency in English and at least one other official South African language.
- Citizenship of the Republic of South Africa with proof required at the interview.
- A Grade 12/Senior Certificate/NCV Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of four years of experience in a related field.
- A relevant three-year Diploma or Degree (NQF level 6 or higher) will be an advantage.
- A valid driver’s license is essential.
- Knowledge of public service prescripts and general computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Strong communication, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
